Residency Curriculum Description

The University of Florida at Gainesville, Emergency Medicine Residency Program is a PGY 1-3 program. Our teaching faculty and staff are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients and the highest quality of educational experience to our residents.

Monthly Educational Modules:

Core Emergency Medicine topics will be reviewed every 1.5 years during conference, following the ABEM Model Curriculum. Additionally, there are web-based modules covering a discreet topics containing:

  • Video lectures available for review 24/7
  • Online textbook links
  • CORD and Med Challenger board-in service preperation exams
  • Landmark articles pertaining to topics
  • Journal Club discussions

This multi-pronged educational approach has been carefully designed to give residents the broadest set of resources to learn.  The resources allow residents to utilize their own best learning style.
